New work from Peter Lik

Peter Lik presented his latest work on the 21th of April.

You can find more info on his blog. Personally I think his latest is not his greatest.

I heard that some of the slideshows on this blog (See kayaking items ) don't work in IE7. Please leave a comment if you can't find the slideshows (you probably see a large white space) and tell me what browser you are using.

  1. Personally,I think this photo called "Romantica" is the best of all Peter Lik's artworks, because these images--orange sunset, pink ocean, white church, and summer wind inspire me so much that I have to a poem about this.
I'd like to share this poem called"The White Church in Romantica" to the people who are truly in love.May all the lovers united in marriage.
    The White Church in Romantica
    Nearby this soft pink ocean
You ask me," Will you marry me?"
    I answer repeatedly,"Yes,of course!"
Oh!My love! My only one true love
This is the feeling that has brought us here
This is the passion that keeps us united
We once were two wondering, lonely souls
We now come together to paint these skies
    With beautiful colors
Standing next to this white church in Romantica
Hearts ponding under the eyes of God
    Use your pure,sparkly,silver-white diamond ring
    To capture my floating heart
Let's be hand by hand, heart to heart
Let this be a new happiness
Let this be the start to the rest of our lives

  2. chiungtandianaball : Your comment is a great example of how a work of art can evoke feelings in a person. That's whats art is all about. In this this case art creates a new piece of art.

  4. We almost bought a piece once. But we got a little scared thinking about shipping it from the gallery in Hawaii to the Netherlands. There's no gallery in the Netherlands. Wish there was.
